This series of paintings celebrate the lives of 4 Americans who are living with passion well into their 90s.
A fisherman who carves paddles on the Canadian border,  a quilt maker from Gee's Bend Alabama, and a Midwestern couple who fell in love in their 80's  and married. The stories are different but the message is the same.  Our media speaks of and to youth.  Golden years are linked with fadeing  memmories.
The people portrayed in these paintings defy the myth. They go about their daily lives as they always have, doing what they love to do.  Maybe just a bit slower but with more grace.
